How to Request Account Deletion

1. Open the Piping Engineering AI app on your Android device
2. Navigate to the Profile screen (from the home screen)
3. Sign out from your account (optional, but recommended)
4. Contact us via email at info@pipingtoolbox.com
5. Include the following information in your email:
   • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
   • Your account email address
   • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
6. We will process your request within 30 days and permanently delete all your data

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:

• User Account Information:
  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Profile photo
  • Authentication credentials
• Chat Data:
  • All chat conversations
  • All messages and message history
  • Chat titles and metadata
• Uploaded Files:
  • All images uploaded to chats
  • All PDFs and documents uploaded to chats
  • All files stored in Firebase Storage
• Usage Data:
  • App usage statistics
  • Subscription information and purchase history
  • Error logs and crash reports

Data Retention Period

After receiving your deletion request:

• We will process your request within 30 days
• All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
• Data will be removed from:
  • Firebase Firestore (chat and message data)
  • Firebase Storage (uploaded files)
  • Firebase Authentication (user account)

Important Notes

OpenAI Data

Please note that data processed by OpenAI (your messages and uploaded files sent to OpenAI's API) may be retained according to OpenAI's privacy policy and data retention practices. We cannot delete data that has already been processed by OpenAI's systems. For more information, please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Billing

Subscription purchase records may be retained by Google Play for billing and compliance purposes, as required by Google's policies. These records are managed by Google and are not under our control.

Irreversible Action

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account and data are deleted, you will not be able to recover any information, including chat history, uploaded files, or account settings. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.

Alternative: Delete Individual Chats

If you only want to delete specific chats rather than your entire account, you can do so directly in the app:

1. Open the Piping Engineering AI app
2. Go to the Home screen (chat list)
3. Tap the delete icon on the chat you want to remove
4. Confirm deletion

This will delete the selected chat and all its messages, but your account will remain active.
